One just needs to recall that, up to two generations ago, skilful shoe “makers” knew how to transform the raw materials into perfectly wearable and comfortable shoe models using masterly cutting, shaping, sewing, soling, finishing and padding skills: by coincidence, among these it was grandfather Petroselli who stood out for his unparalleled skills.
Francesco, in his turn, is an established golf player, having played often during his long stays in Great Britain where this sport is widely played by all. We put together all the coincidences and arrive at this excellent craftsman, apparently anomalous considering his young age, but in effect with all the qualifications to represent the craftsmen of today. In fact Francesco has made an intelligent and successful choice in life: he has combined the passions to generate work, conceived as a means of raising the standards of quality through constant personal growth, made up of commitment and also self-denial.
